A small Klang Valley crew, built around the people on the trowel.

Most renovation horror stories start with a contractor you can't reach. We built PrimoQuo so that wouldn't be us.

Our story

From a workshop in Setapak, the long way around.

Daniel Wong started the workshop in 2013 with a single bandsaw and a stubborn idea: that homeowners deserved a contractor who'd answer the phone after the deposit cleared. He spent the first year cutting custom shelving for friends-of-friends. The first full renovation came in early 2014 — a tired three-bedroom terrace in Pandan Indah.

Eleven years later we have three project managers, eight in-house tradespeople and a rotating roster of trusted specialists for the work that needs them. We still cut our own carpentry in the same workshop, just down the road from where we started.

What hasn't changed: every project gets a single PM you can text directly, every site gets photographed daily, and every quote is itemised down to the SKU.

What we believe

Five ideas that shape every job.

  • 01

    Owners are partners

You commissioned the work. You should know what's happening on it, every day, in plain language. We share photos, drawings and decisions in real time.

  • 02

    Tradespeople are skilled

The best tilers, electricians and carpenters work better when they're respected, paid on time, and not pushed to corner-cut. We staff and pay accordingly.

  • 03

    Quotes are honest

If we don't know what the structural opening behind that wall looks like, we'll say so and put a transparent provisional sum against it — not a vague margin we'll cash in later.

  • 04

    Schedules are real

We pad timelines for monsoon delays, festive shutdowns and the inevitable surprise. The handover date in your contract is the one we plan to meet.

  • 05

    Sites are someone's home

Tools get put away. Floors get swept. Dust barriers stay sealed. The house you come back to in the evening should still feel livable.

  • 06

    Hand-overs aren't goodbyes

Two years of workmanship cover, and a name in your phone for when the silicon eventually needs touching up. We'd rather earn the next job than chase the last invoice.

By the numbers

Eleven years, summarised in eight figures.

  • 240

    Projects delivered

Across kitchens, bathrooms, condos, terrace homes and offices, mostly within forty minutes of the studio.

  • 15

    People on the team

Three PMs, two designers, eight in-house tradespeople and two studio coordinators who keep everything moving.

  • 96%

    Delivered on time

The remaining 4% were almost always weather-related extension projects during the November–December monsoon stretch.

  • 89%

    Repeat & referral work

The single statistic we're proudest of. Most of our jobs come from owners we've worked with before, or someone they sent us.
