Styling scope
How styling layers onto the build.
Styling sounds soft until you walk a finished site that's missing it. That's when the brand-new sofa looks oddly small, or the lighting flattens every face in the room. We integrate styling decisions into the build, not after.
Included in scope
- Concept moodboards and visual direction for each major room
- Furniture sourcing and procurement (local, regional and selected imports)
- Custom carpentry — TV walls, built-in shelving, console pieces
- Lighting design including ambient, accent and task layers
- Curtain track planning, fabric selection and installation
- Art curation, framing and hanging plan
- Paint specification per wall, including transitions and feature walls
- Pre-photograph styling pass before move-in
Typical investment
Layered as a percentage of build value, our styling work usually adds 18–30% on top of the construction cost — covering both design fees and the actual furniture, lighting and soft furnishing budgets. We'll cap and itemise this at quote stage.
How long it takes
Styling typically runs in parallel with the build, with a concentrated install week at the end. Expect two design review meetings during construction and one final styling-pass week before hand-over.
